Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting our financial reporting process, including but not limited to end-to-end process ownership from the preparation and review of accounting records, analysis and review of accounting matters, to the issuance of financial reports.
  • Direct and review all periodic financial reports, including but not limited to quarterly and annual reports, to ensure their accuracy and timely issuance in accordance with relevant accounting standards and disclosure requirements.
  • Direct and coordinate with accounting firms and supervising organizations on company's financial condition and financial information disclosure, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, laws and guidelines.
  • Understand internal control design concepts to assess the effectiveness of controls and design new effective processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities.
  • Drive projects, provide accounting guidance and serve as first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues, including but not limited to independently leading financial projects and acting as a liaison for the finance department to provide accounting treatment guidance and support to the business.
  • Manage accounting projects on an ad-hoc basis.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field.
  • Qualified Accountant.
  • Knowledge of the internal control framework and understanding of the concepts of control design and operational efficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience from a Big-4 public accounting firm is preferred.
  • Be able to work with multicultural teams and be patient and understanding.
  • Be able to work with a fast-paced start-up.
