Sales Manager

Automation Systems SA has this opportunity for you in Valmet Araucaria.

For this position you will be responsible for:

  • Prospect and develop customer dedicated sales solutions related to Automation System portfolio, promote current and new technology to drive business growth.
  • Maintain and develop new business at specific customer area location.
  • Perform high quality customer production process analysis and research to identify new potential opportunities.
  • Sales management to drive growth and gross margin.
  • Manage the Automation System Business activities: objective settings, target and KPI's achievements, sales tools up dating, customer relationship maintenance and sales strategy implementation.
  • Provide sales forecast/budget for assigned accounts including competitor analysis.
  • Define and guarantee the budget of Sales and Marketing costs.
  • Present monthly business report: Sales, revenue, profitability, expenses, sales team activities/KPI's and forecast.
  • Improve internal synergy and relationship with order Valmet BL.
  • Support head of area to define and implement Sales Growth strategy.
  • Ensure the compliance with all HSE, legal and other Valmet Rules and procedures.
  • Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
  • Stay up-to-date with competitor position and activities.
In addition, to succeed in this position, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Production, Chemical or related areas.
  • Strong background in Pulp & Paper Making Process.-
  • Experience in Pulp & Paper market business prospection.
  • High knowledge of Valmet customer industries Pulp & Paper.
  • Advanced English.
  • Fluent Portuguese.
  • Availability for travels.
  • Availability to move to Araucaria/Curitiba region.
  • Hands on attitude and problem-solving, proactive service mindset, ability to communicate both with internal and external customers.
