World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding.

WBL services its loan portfolio and loan portfolios for third parties, specializing in the management of non-performing loan pools and REO.

WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce. This is a remote Contract/Consultant position. Working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. Resumes must be submitted in English.

Position Overview In a fast paced, high expectation, results oriented environment, the Asset Resolution Counsel will be responsible for (i) managing a large portfolio of non-performing real estate collateralized commercial loans, and REO, (ii) supervising Asset Resolution/Collections/REO Department staff, (iii) analyzing loan, borrower and guarantor, as well as jurisdiction characteristics, (iv) consulting with local counsel to develop recovery strategies and (v) achieving optimal resolutions.

Candidates should be adept at working with a large portfolio of assets, highly familiar with legal pleadings and proceedings and comfortable with financial analysis, with demonstrated leadership and mentoring acumen.


Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor a non-performing real estate collateralized commercial loan portfolio, including REO, toward most effective and efficient resolution ·Hire, supervise, train and develop Asset Resolution Department staff Conduct proactive and effective portfolio management in accordance with established performance standards Monitor and manage commercial litigation/bankruptcy/foreclosure activities, functions and deadlines Direct/monitor/liaise with in-house and outside attorneys, collection agencies and other vendors that support the loss mitigation effort Interact with customers and their counsel Negotiate and propose settlement agreements and bidding instructions Monitor loss mitigation workout performance and loss severity trends Implement and communicate loss mitigation decisions Maintain delinquency and loss mitigation reporting, including trend analysis and assessment Conduct comprehensive analysis of debtors' financial position, credit status, personal background, and historical payment performance Facilitate negotiation and conflict resolution Perform extensive quarterly review of portfolio being managed to confirm or reassess recovery estimates Monitor related expenses (taxes, maintenance, utilities, fees, etc.) and timely propose protective advances Participate in budget preparation for the Asset Resolution Department Other projects and duties as assigned Requirements Law degree (from a nationally accredited U.S.

law school is preferred) Experience working in commercial litigation/bankruptcy/foreclosure/real estate loss mitigation Demonstrated ability to successfully manage non-performing loan pools and REO Experience supervising/developing/mentoring a case management staff ·Litigation experience and familiarity with litigation management tools Strong organization, decision-making and negotiation skills Strong knowledge of applicable U.S. legal/regulatory guidelines, including bankruptcy and foreclosure Demonstrated analytical and reasoning skills, and innovative approach to solving both practical and theoretical problems Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications Strong work ethic with ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment You must have your own laptop or desktop to use (the company does not supply equipment) Excellent English fluency and communication skills, both written and verbal Benefits CONTRACT/CONSULTANCY POSITION Compensation DOE 11 US Paid Holidays per year
