China Mobile International Limited is looking for a Solution Manager based in São Paulo, Brazil. This role needs to work alongside account managers and supporting team to target customer opportunities using consultative skill to design solutions and sell CMI’s products, meanwhile ensure service delivery.


Job Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales opportunities with sales team. This includes working with customers to understand their technical needs and providing solutions that meet those needs. This role will also work closely with other teams within the company to ensure that the solutions being proposed are feasible and can be delivered on time and within budget. Detailed responsibilities may include:

  • Collect requirements based on your own consultation of customers' real situation and take ownership to work with other internal teams to render solutions with competitive commercial arrangement.
  • Make sure the solution is commercially competitive and minimizes delivery costs following companies' process and compliance requirements.
  • Present solutions clearly and comprehensively to customers. Take leadership to keep polishing and improving solutions until the deal is closed.
  • Implement/modify customers' IT Infrastructure (such as servers, VMs, firewalls, and switches in production or disaster recovery environments) when needed.
  • Work closely with internal teams (management, sales, vendor manager, marketing, product, etc.) to set the best technology direction and go-to-market strategy in Latin American Region and achieve revenue target of your team.
  • Being capable and willing to take leadership roles when the local supporting team is growing up.
  • Travel to customer sites or overtime work may be needed due to urgency.


Job Requirements:

This role should have a strong technical background, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. Detail requirements may include:


  • Master's degree (or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years related experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science / Telecommunication or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Telecommunication and ICT infrastructure architecture either as Sales Engineer / Solution Consultant in a System Integration environment.
  • Familiar with the network security system and product solutions, national security regulations and related common standards for network security.
  • Hands on experience with Cisco /Huawei/H3C(or similar networking hardware vendors),Fortinet, Citrix, VMware, SQL Server, Data Storage, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, SD-WAN etc.
  • Ability of analytical thinking to define customer requirements through complex scenarios and aligning with the company's product & service.
  • Ability to quickly understand, learn, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Telecom/Cloud/IT technology industry.
  • CCNP/HCNP/MCSE or similar certification is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – ability to explain technology from a customer's perspective.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and team player – demonstrated the ability to work with multiple internal teams to hit a mutual goal.
