With a mission to meet customer needs, AMS has established itself as a leader in advanced mechatronic solutions worldwide.Role DescriptionThe AMR & Robotic Sales Engineer will play a critical role in managing customer relationships, providing technical support, and driving sales of advanced mechatronics and robotic solutions. This role involves tasks such as identifying customer needs, crafting tailored automation solutions, delivering product presentations, and providing pre-sales and post-sales support. Coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful project execution is also a key responsibility. This is a hybrid contract role based in São Paulo, SP, with opportunities for remote work.This role is focused on identifying new business opportunities for our AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots) and COBOT (Collaborative Robots) solutions within the automotive, electronics, and logistics sectors. You will act as a strategic partner, bridge the gap between technical possibilities and client needs, and build a robust sales pipeline in South America’s largest industrial hub.Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation: Identify and engage with key decision-makers (Plant Managers, Engineering Directors) in the Greater São Paulo area and nearby industrial clusters.Solution Selling: Analyze client production lines to propose optimized AMR and COBOT integration strategies.Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with Tier 1/Tier 2 automotive suppliers and large-scale manufacturing facilities.Project Oversight: Coordinate with the global technical team to provide accurate quotations and manage the local contract process.Market Intelligence: Provide regular reports on Brazilian market trends, competitor activities, and local regulatory requirements.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum 3–7 years of proven experience in technical sales, specifically within industrial automation, robotics, or heavy machinery.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Industry 4.0, AMR navigation (SLAM), and COBOT applications.Local Network: A strong existing portfolio of contacts within the Brazilian manufacturing industry (especially in the ABC region of São Paulo).Languages: Native proficiency in Portuguese is mandatory. Fluency in English (or Spanish) is required for seamless communication with our global offices in the US and Mexico.Technical Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).Mindset: A proactive, "hunter" mentality with the ability to work independently as a contractor and drive results with minimal supervision.
