Position Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Manager to lead and support key initiatives in Brazil. This role has 3 reports and is critical in aligning HR practices with business objectives, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and fostering a high-performance culture in a multinational environment. This position reports directly to the HR Director – Latin America, and indirectly to the Country Manager.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic HR Leadership, Culture & Engagement

  • Partner with Regional HR Director, local HR team, and Brazil business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive talent management initiatives including workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Conduct compensation and benefits analysis to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Support HR budgeting processes, including preparation, monitoring, and review of departmental budgets and P&L statements.
  • Utilize HR data and analytics to generate insights, support decision-making, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Employee Relations

  • Ensure compliance with Brazilian labor laws and corporate policies.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions with fairness and consistency.

Talent & Performance Development

  • Implement performance management systems and support leadership in coaching and feedback.
  • Promote learning and development programs tailored to local and global needs.
  • Lead employee engagement surveys and action planning.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Oversee recruitment processes for key roles, ensuring diverse and high-quality talent pipelines.
  • Lead onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • English required. Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills. Certification in Data Analysis and/or Compensation will be highly valuable.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience in multinational or matrixed organizations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (Oracle preferred), Microsiga Totvs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
