At GM Sectec, we are seeking a Product Sales Specialist with a strong technical background and sales-oriented mindset to support our LATAM team. This role is crucial in ensuring that customers fully understand the value of our cybersecurity solutions such as: Data Discovery, Data Privacy, Secure Software Development, Cloud Security, Data Loss Prevention, etc.


The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional with a balance of technical expertise and sales acumen, capable of conducting product presentations and demonstrations, engaging with customers, and supporting and collaborating with other sales team members to win the sale.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Sales Support


  • Assist in product evaluations, guiding customers through solution capabilities and answering technical inquiries.
  • Provide expert advice on Data Discovery, Data Privacy, Secure Software Development, Cloud Security, Compliance, etc.
  • Ensure that customers fully understand the value proposition and impact of the solutions.


Sales Enablement & Product Positioning

  • Develop a deep understanding of vendor solutions, their use cases, and business value.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to position cybersecurity solutions effectively, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations in Portuguese, English, and Spanish to showcase product capabilities.
  • Track and report sales performance and provide insights to enhance sales execution and strategy.


Proposal Development & Market Intelligence

  • Support the preparation of RFPs, RFIs, and technical documentation tailored to customer requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in LATAM.
  • Gather customer feedback to enhance product positioning and sales strategies.


Internal Collaboration & Training

  • Train internal sales teams on the key features, differentiators, and strategic use cases of vendor solutions.
  • Work closely with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to maintain product knowledge and best practices.
  • Drive engagement across internal teams to ensure successful product adoption and integration.


Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales engineering/pre-sales, product management, or as a technical sales specialist within cybersecurity or technology solutions.


Technical & Sales Skills


Fluent in Portuguese (native), English, and Spanish.

Knowledge of Data Discovery, Data Privacy, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Secure Software Development, and/or Cloud Security.

Experience with RFP/RFI processes and technical proposal development.

Strong presentation, communication, and customer engagement skills.

Ability to conduct live product demonstrations and address customer concerns confidently.


Preferred Qualifications


Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or CEH).

Experience working with channel partners, resellers, and vendor product sales. Ability to influence and motivate internal teams to support product positioning and adoption.
