Role Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and strategic PR Manager to lead public relations for our smartphone brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping our brand narrative, strengthening media relations, driving product launch coverage, and managing crisis communications. This role requires a strong network with tech and lifestyle media, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver impactful stories that position our brand as an industry leader.


Key Responsibilities:


Public Relations & Media:

  • Develop and execute PR strategies that enhance brand visibility and credibility in the smartphone industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier tech, lifestyle, and business media outlets.
  • Draft, review, and distribute press releases, media kits, Q&As, and product-related communications.
  • Secure proactive media coverage across online, print, broadcast, and influencer platforms.


Product Launch Support:

  • Lead PR campaigns for new smartphone launches, from pre-launch buzz to post-launch media engagement.
  • Organize and manage press conferences, launch events, and media briefings.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to craft compelling product stories.


Corporate & Crisis Communication:

  • Act as spokesperson when required; prepare executives for media interviews.
  • Monitor public sentiment and manage crisis communications with timely responses.
  • Ensure consistent alignment with global brand messaging and corporate communication guidelines.


Content & Storytelling:

  • Create thought leadership content, media pitches, and brand stories highlighting innovation, technology, and lifestyle value.
  • Collaborate with social media and digital teams to extend PR campaigns online.


Measurement & Reporting:

  • Track, analyze, and report PR performance metrics (media coverage, SOV, sentiment, reach, etc.).
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving PR effectiveness.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in PR, preferably in consumer electronics, smartphones, or technology sector.
  • Strong media network across tech, lifestyle, and business press.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills in [insert relevant languages].
  • Experience managing product launch PR campaigns end-to-end.
  • Skilled in crisis communication and reputation management.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global brand environment.
  • Proficiency in PR monitoring and analytics tools.


Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working with influencers and KOLs in the tech/lifestyle space.
  • Previous experience in managing agency partners and event PR.
  • Familiarity with mobile technology trends and consumer behavior in emerging markets
