Position brief


We are looking a hands-on and strategic Senior Accounting to support our finance operations in Brazil. As part of a fast-growing startup, you will be overseeing all accounting activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and cash flow management.


Your responsibilities


  • Daily Accounting Operations - Complete monthly closing tasks on time as per the requirements of the headquarters.
  • Responsible for the verification and checking of account receivables and account payables transactions.
  • Follow up on monthly closing tasks, resolve any issues encountered during the closing process, and ensure the completion of the closing tasks as required.
  • Support on preparation of local Financial Statements - Timely and accurately complete the financial accounting according to local accounting standards and related laws and regulations, provide individual financial statements on time, and complete the annual audit report.
  • System Development and Process Control- Revise the accounting policies based on CAS. IFRS requirements and the headquarters' policies and assist in building and optimizing the financial IT platform to improve overall work quality and operational efficiency.
  • Other Project Requirements - Carry out other financial related tasks as needed by various projects.

Requirement for the position


  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, possessing solid accounting knowledge and good financial analysis skills, with experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in accounting or related fields.
  • Local candidates, with good English communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong team collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in using office software and familiar with ERP (Oracle) systems is a plus.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and professional proficiency in English (Mandarin is a plus)
  • Experience in companies in the initial phase of operation in Brazil (stage 0→1), especially in contexts of rapid expansion is a plus
