Business Development Manager – Instruments 🕒 Travel: Up to 80%BTG is seeking an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager (BDM) – Instruments to drive growth and execute our instruments business strategy. This role is key to expanding our presence in the Tissue, Pulp, and Paper/Packaging markets by developing new customers, strengthening relationships, and identifying opportunities that leverage BTG/Voith’s full portfolio of products and services.What You’ll DoDevelop and implement strategic plans for your territory in collaboration with sales leadership and technical teams.Drive holistic solutions using advanced data analytics, process modeling, controls, and instrumentation.Build and maintain strong relationships with customer personnel at all levels—from process engineers to mill leadership.Support accounts and ensure alignment with BTG’s long-term sales and marketing strategies.Participate in technical training, industry events, and trade associations.Maintain accurate forecasts and opportunity tracking in Salesforce.Stay informed on industry trends and communicate effectively across internal teams.What We’re Looking ForTechnical expertise in pulp and paper processes and instrumentation solutions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills—someone who enjoys engaging with customers.Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%).Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Science, etc.).Why Join Us?At BTG, you’ll be part of a global team committed to innovation and excellence in the pulp and paper industry.
