Training and Development Specialist

As the Training and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive learning and development programs to support the professional growth and success of our employees. But the consistent goal is helping bring relevant learning experiences to life for our people to help them develop new skills and be ready for their next role.

Your role will be pivotal in identifying skill gaps, providing relevant training initiatives, and promoting a culture of continuous learning across the organization. Additionally, you will take charge of managing the training budget and collaborate closely with the Center of Excellence to ensure our training efforts align with best practices and industry standards.

What you will do:

  • Conduct needs assessments and collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and skill gaps across different job roles and develop effective training programs.
  • Manage the company's learning management system, ensuring content is up-to-date, accessible, and aligned with training objectives.
  • Actively manage all aspects of the learning program from needs assessment, through to design, delivery and program sponsor updates. In this role having part in most of the program management aspects is expected.
  • Collaborate with the Center of Excellence to stay abreast of best practices, trends, and innovations in training and development.
  • Ensure the accuracy of compliance trainings and develop procedures for local maintenance and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to provide ongoing better performance support and resources to employees, ensuring continuous development beyond formal training programs

Skills and experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field, or relevant equivalent work experience.
  • Ideally proven experience in the training or development area or general HR experience
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
