Job Overview
We're seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead user acquisition and community building across two key verticals: sports betting enthusiasts and crypto communities. You'll architect and execute growth strategies that tap into the passion of sports fans seeking betting alternatives and the engaged crypto communities.
This role combines strategic growth marketing with hands-on community building—perfect for someone who understands both the analytical side of user acquisition and the cultural nuances of sports and gaming communities.
Key Responsibilities
User Acquisition & Growth Strategy
Develop, test, and optimize user acquisition strategies across multiple channels, targeting both sports betting and crypto communities.
Define, monitor, and report on user growth KPIs (CAC, LTV, engagement); present actionable insights to leadership.
Launch and refine multi-channel campaigns, including: paid, organic, influencer, and community tactics; adapting for platforms like Instagram and X/Twitter.
Align and iterate acquisition funnels with sports event cycles and crypto trends to ensure campaign relevance.
Community Development & Engagement
Grow and manage communities on Discord, Telegram, Reddit, and internal platforms with targeted campaigns and community-first onboarding.
Design and improve onboarding processes to convert visitors into active users, leveraging feedback and testing for optimization.
Launch and manage ambassador and influencer programs with measurable objectives, engaging micro-influencers and established creators.
Organize virtual events, tournaments, and watch parties for sports and esports, encouraging deep user engagement and retention.
Influencer Management
Identify, recruit, and foster relationships with betting, crypto, and gaming creators; structure partnerships for platform growth and audience reach.
Negotiate influencer collaborations for sponsored and interactive content, ensuring alignment with brand values and responsible play standards.
Cultivate connections with sports fan groups, fantasy and DFS communities to expand the platform’s reach.
Required Qualifications
Experience
3+ years in user acquisition, growth marketing, or community management roles
Proven track record in sports betting, gaming, or web3 industries
Experience managing large acquisition budgets
Success building communities of thousands of engaged members
Domain Knowledge
Deep understanding of sports betting landscape and player psychology
Active in gaming/streaming culture with knowledge of Twitch, YouTube Gaming, and Kick
Network within sports betting and gaming influencer communities
Understanding of prediction market mechanics
