We are seeking an SAP FICO L1 Support professional. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level support for SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules, handling incidents, and assisting users with system issues. This role requires a fundamental understanding of SAP FICO processes and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support for SAP FICO modules, including incident management, issue resolution, and user assistance.
  • Respond to user queries related to SAP FICO functionalities, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO) processes.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze issues reported by users and escalate them to higher support levels if necessary.
  • Assist in the identification, categorization, and prioritization of incidents, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Document and maintain support tickets, resolutions, and communication with users in the ticketing system.
  • Provide guidance to users on SAP FICO best practices and standard procedures.
  • Collaborate with the SAP support team to implement solutions and improvements in the SAP FICO environment.
  • Participate in regular status meetings with the support team to review open issues and resolutions.
  • Assist in user training sessions and the preparation of user manuals and documentation.
  • Monitor SAP FICO system performance and report any anomalies to the technical team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in SAP FICO support or a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Controlling (CO).
  • Understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with SAP support tools and ticketing systems is a plus.
