As a Technical Sales Specialist , you will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to develop new opportunities, engage key opinion leaders, and close sales in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will play a pivotal role in advancing life sciences research and enabling affordable healthcare solutions for all.

At this position you will be responsible for:

Sales Growth and Strategy:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets in your territory.
Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities for MGI's products and solutions.

Customer Engagement and Support:
Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, and industry stakeholders in academic, government, and private sectors.
Provide pre-sales consultation and post-sales support, ensuring customers achieve optimal results with MGI products.

Technical Expertise and Education:
Deliver technical presentations, seminars, and workshops to educate customers on product capabilities and applications.
Collaborate with Field Application Scientists, product managers, and R&D to provide comprehensive technical and promotional support.

Market Intelligence:
Gather and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies.
Contribute to marketing efforts through trade shows, vendor events, and other promotional activities.

Reporting and Administration:
Maintain accurate CRM records (e.g., Salesforce), prepare sales forecasts, and provide regular activity reports.
Monitor sales metrics to evaluate performance and adjust strategies as needed.

At this position you will be based on

Latin America Territory :
Field-based role , eligible for remote work
Preferred location : Brasil/ Peru/ Argentina/ Colômbia
Up to 50% travel across the territory (Latam) to engage with customers and stakeholders, demonstrate and sell NGS instruments, attend regional events, and support market initiatives.

At this position we expect from you:

Technical Expertise:
Comprehensive knowledge of NGS, DNA sequencing, RT-PCR, and molecular biology applications.
Hands-on experience with library preparation, lab automation, and system integration for sequencing workflows.
Fluent English and Spanish

Sales Experience:
5+ years of successful sales experience in life sciences, genomics, or related fields.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and develop long-term customer relationships.

Tech-Savvy Skills:
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field required; Master's or advanced degree preferred.

Master's or Advanced Degree in life sciences or related fields preferred.
Bachelor's degree with significant technical and sales experience will also be considered.
