Role Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at TapGoods, you'll be the first line of offense in driving our growth. This is a high-volume, outbound-focused role (70%+ cold calling) where your primary mission is to book demos with decision-makers in our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
We'll provide targeted leads and expect you to supplement with self-sourced prospects. Your success will be measured by results —demos booked and pipeline generated—not just activity. Top performers are relentless, persuasive, and thrive in a competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Make 70–80 outbound calls daily to Event Rental and Tool & Equipment companies in the U.S.
Book 6–8 qualified demos per week , with 75%+ in the ICP segment.
Execute multi-touch outreach sequences using phone, email, and LinkedIn.
Manage all activities, notes, and follow-ups in a CRM.
Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure high quality demos with key decision makers.
Consistently meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPI targets.
Add high-quality prospects to your pipeline beyond provided lead lists.
What We're Looking For:
Excellent spoken and written English skills — clear, confident, and professional communication is essential.
1–2+ years of outbound SaaS or SMB sales experience.
Proven ability to meet or exceed aggressive outbound targets.
Strong phone presence, active listening, and objection-handling skills.
Proficiency in any CRM system and sales engagement tools.
Highly organized with excellent follow-up discipline.
Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the Event Rental or Tool & Equipment industries.
Experience in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment.
