
Insurance Sales Specialist

A confidential and globally expanding insurance company is seeking a driven Commercial Insurance Specialist to lead its market entry and commercial expansion efforts in Brazil. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing our presence in the region by building partnerships with insurance agencies and brokers.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Brazil in alignment with company goals.
Identify, approach, and close commercial agreements with insurance brokers and agencies.
Represent and promote a premium portfolio of international health, life, and travel insurance products.
Build long-term relationships and grow the partner network to drive sustained business growth.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for partners.
Provide market insights, competitive analysis, and performance reporting to HQ.
Travel occasionally to the U.S. (Miami HQ) for strategic planning and alignment.
Requirements:
Proven experience in business development or sales within the insurance industry in Brazil.
Existing network within broker or agency channels is a strong advantage.
Strong understanding of premium health, life, or travel insurance products.
Fluent in Portuguese ; professional proficiency in English is required. Spanish is a plus.
Valid U.S. visa required for occasional travel to the headquarters in Miami.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as a contractor.
Comfortable working remotely and across time zones
