
Insurance Sales Specialist

A confidential and globally expanding insurance company is seeking a driven Commercial Insurance Specialist to lead its market entry and commercial expansion efforts in Brazil. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing our presence in the region by building partnerships with insurance agencies and brokers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Brazil in alignment with company goals.
- Identify, approach, and close commercial agreements with insurance brokers and agencies.
- Represent and promote a premium portfolio of international health, life, and travel insurance products.
- Build long-term relationships and grow the partner network to drive sustained business growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for partners.
- Provide market insights, competitive analysis, and performance reporting to HQ.
- Travel occasionally to the U.S. (Miami HQ) for strategic planning and alignment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the insurance industry in Brazil.
- Existing network within broker or agency channels is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of premium health, life, or travel insurance products.
- Fluent in Portuguese; professional proficiency in English is required. Spanish is a plus.
- Valid U.S. visa required for occasional travel to the headquarters in Miami.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as a contractor.
- Comfortable working remotely and across time zones
