Summary

As the Automation & Control System Engineer at HMH, you will support the design and development of advanced control solutions for equipment and systems in the oil and gas industry. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the reliable operation and continuous improvement of our digital technology portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of software for HMH control systems and products.
• Support the seamless integration of solutions with other products and systems
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and apply diligent configuration management practices to software deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with the aftermarket team to support our installed base.
• Uphold HMH's vision, values, strategies, policies, and standards in all professional activities
  
  

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation & Control Systems, Computer, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Experience:

Demonstrated proficiency in:

• HMI software (e.g., WinCC, Cimplicity)
• Programming languages (e.g., VBA, C++, C#)
• Siemens PLC platforms using Simatic Classic / TIA Portal and DasyLab.
• PLC languages: FEB, STL, SCL and other Structural Language
• Industrial Networks: Profinet, Ethernet, Profibus, Modbus
• Familiarity with:
• SCADA systems
• Database management (e.g., SQL)
• Process and/or machine control systems in an industrial environment (preferred)
• Instrumentation and electrical circuits (preferred)

• Collaborative and able to work effectively within cross-disciplinary teams.
