Automation Control System Engineer

As an Automation & Control System Engineer, you will support the design and development of advanced control solutions for equipment and systems in the oil and gas industry.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the reliable operation and continuous improvement of our digital technology portfolio.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of software for HMH control systems and products.
  • Support the seamless integration of solutions with other products and systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and apply diligent configuration management practices to software deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with the aftermarket team to support our installed base.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation & Control Systems, Computer, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Experience:

Demonstrated proficiency in:

  • HMI software (e.g., WinCC, Cimplicity).
  • Programming languages (e.g., VBA, C++, C#).
  • Siemens PLC platforms using Simatic Classic / TIA Portal and DasyLab.
  • PLC languages: FEB, STL, SCL and other Structural Language.
  • Industrial Networks: Profinet, Ethernet, Profibus, Modbus.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Analytical and communication skills.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively within cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering reliable solutions.
