We are looking for data scientists who are passionate about data and eager to tackle big challenges using Data Science and Machine Learning. The main focus of this role is to solve complex business problems in a market-leading company in its segment. This person will work with both structured and unstructured data, employing scientific methods and state-of-the-art techniques and tools to help our customers achieve their business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Capture and explore complex data sets (structured and unstructured data);
  • Prototype models of varying complexity (business analysis, statistical models, machine learning) using modern data science tools (Notebooks, Clouds);
  • Design and implement machine learning models, metrics, and apply feature engineering techniques to customer problems;
  • Support pre-sales activities and assist engineering teams in deploying production-ready machine learning solutions;
  • Evaluate hypotheses and assess the impact of machine learning algorithms on key business metrics through simulations and experiments (offline/online, including A/B tests);
  • Research and analyze user behavior patterns, such as engagement and segmentation, using machine learning models to test hypotheses.

Required qualifications:

  • Ability to understand mathematical models and algorithms from research papers;
  • Experience exploring big data to formulate questions and derive insights;
  • Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL, using frameworks for machine learning pipelines, data visualization, manipulation, model training, evaluation, and deployment;
  • Experience with feature engineering techniques and machine learning algorithms;
  • Experience with Generative AI systems and their application in building RAG solutions (embeddings, dense search);
  • Creative and innovative problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience building advanced NLP-based Information Retrieval or Question Answering systems using Generative AI techniques (e.g., RAG, GraphRAG);
  • Experience constructing and integrating Knowledge Graphs.
