About This Role

As an HR Business Partner at Biogen, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of HR Brazil and contribute to the success of Biogen Brazil by aligning HR initiatives with the business strategy. You'll be responsible for operationalizing HR strategies and implementing Center of Excellence (COE) initiatives as needed, ensuring a seamless collaboration with the Global Business Services (GBS) team. Your role will involve coaching and advising managers and teams on various HR topics such as team effectiveness, conflict resolution, and employee development. By fostering a culture of trust and results-oriented mindset, you will be instrumental in driving the company's goals and making Biogen a Great Place to Work. You will work closely with both office-based and field-based employees, ensuring HR processes are effectively managed and aligned with the company's core values.

About This Role

What You'll Do

  • Coach and advise managers and teams on HR-related topics to enhance team effectiveness and employee development.
  • Act as a change agent, promoting and supporting change management across functions.
  • Partner with the Head of HR on local survey-driven initiatives and Great Place to Work projects.
  • Support talent management and compensation processes, including onboarding and performance evaluations.
  • Manage the New Employees Orientation program and ensure new hires are well-acquainted with company policies and culture.
  • Provide support on all HR-related topics to management.
  • Oversee employee engagement and communication activities within the HR domain.
  • Manage employee benefits and vendor selection processes in coordination with Finance and Benefits.
  • Coordinate Employer Branding projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure regular updates and integration of global policies and procedures locally.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and local content for meetings and events.
  • Support managers in onboarding and exit processes.
  • Assist in designing and executing communication plans for local events.

Required Skills
  • University Degree required, preferably in economics or human resources.
  • Experience in HR and overall business
  • Proficiency in English and Brazilian Portuguese.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Expertise in HR generalist skills, including compensation & benefits management, employee relations, and HR systems.
  • Experience in organizational design and change management.
  • Demonstrated experience building customer relationships.

Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Workday.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in the SSC sector.
