Sweden needs skilled engineers. About 30 000 of them by 2030, according to the Swedish Statistical Central Bureau. Right now we have approximately 200 open positions for Software Engineers with our clients in Sweden. This role focuses on finding engineers who are ready to move to Sweden and informing them about the benefits of living and working there.

To move to another country is often one of the biggest leaps in life, so a lot of your job will be to build trust with suitable candidates. You will be supported by a global team of recruiters, an executive management team in Sweden, and our Swedish delivery management team that handles relocation logistics. We fix visa, work permits, tickets, housing, and related arrangements for our employees.

Your work will be planned and executed with colleagues in Albania, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Colombia, Hungary, Kenya, North Macedonia, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Vietnam. You will be part of a team that enjoys helping engineers and their families build a new career and life in Sweden. Telescope values are joy, trust, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

The senior headhunter will help find engineers prepared to embark on a move to Sweden and inform them about the benefits of working there. You will work with clients in software development, R&D, cyber security, automotive, embedded systems, telecommunications, online solutions, and application development. You will collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries to plan and execute recruitment activities and relocation support.

Qualifications

Required competence (documented in CV): at least 5 years of professional experience in IT recruitment or similar technical experience.

  • A solid and well proven network of local engineering talent within IT.
  • Extremely service oriented, with a flexible mindset to find the best solution for the challenge.
  • High quality and brand awareness.
  • Understanding or interest in headhunting and IT outstaffing/outsourcing.
  • Upper intermediate English.
  • Knowledge of contemporary IT technologies and the ability to learn new technologies.
  • Analytical, well organized with attention to detail, able to identify and close a recruitment request.
  • Self-confident, social, friendly, and motivated.
  • Resilient and persistent, able to persevere after a rejection.
  • Passionate about success with an executive yet relaxed attitude toward work, colleagues, and customers.
  • Responsive and responsible, with a professional appearance.

Extent & Duration: Start ASAP. Full-time, long-term contract as a Private Entrepreneur. Minimum 12 months. Eight hours per day, Monday to Friday. Overtime compensation 1:1 in flex. Location: Remote or from a co-location center of your choice. Remuneration starting at 1200 USD, plus remittance fees and taxes. Benefits include paid national holidays, 20 paid vacation days, paid travels, housing, and per diem.
