Overview

Logistics & Distribution Director-LATAM will manage the logistics & distribution of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers. Develops midterm vision for the function in relation to the business and contributes to the strategic plan of the higher unit.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead end-to-end logistics & distribution solutions to achieve on-time pick up & delivery of goods.
  • Manage logistics costs to meet budgets and operating plans.
  • Make decisions with direct impact on business results, advising business & functional leaders on policies.
  • Understand broader implications for the entire organizational unit.
  • Develop a clear vision on the business strategy in close collaboration with management.
  • Lead the team in complex issues and deliver very complex, specialized work often through regional or global teams.
  • Handle unique, sometimes unprecedented cases and develop new approaches; emphasize expertise development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Extensive experience in logistics.
  • Advanced level of English (oral and written) and Portuguese.
