Logistics & Distribution Director-LATAM Role Overview

This senior leadership position is responsible for managing the logistics and distribution of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers.

The Logistics & Distribution Director-LATAM will develop midterm vision for the function in relation to the business and contribute to the strategic plan of the higher unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead end-to-end logistics and distribution solutions to achieve on-time pick up and delivery of goods.
  • Manage logistics costs to meet budgets and operating plans.
  • Make decisions with direct impact on business results, advising business and functional leaders on policies.
  • Understand broader implications for the entire organizational unit.
  • Develop a clear vision on the business strategy in close collaboration with management.
  • Lead the team in complex issues and deliver very complex, specialized work often through regional or global teams.
  • Handle unique cases and develop new approaches; emphasize expertise development.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Extensive experience in logistics.
  • An advanced level of English (oral and written) and Portuguese.
Working Conditions:
  • Flexible working pattern: Monday to Friday (7-16h/8-17h).
