Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Software Development Manager to lead our engineering team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, provide strategic leadership, and drive initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong people management.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Technical leadership: Lead complex and multi-disciplinary projects, assist the team with problem solving by offering suggestions, technical guidelines and feedback; ensure quality, performance and security. Deliver results and participate in technical discussions, architecture and other decisions, focused on development routines.
  • Project Management: ensure valuable deliveries, manage timelines, ceremonies, project metrics, remove blocks, manage risks, report project status, collect and apply lessons learned, and propose changes to the software development process to achieve better results.
  • People Management: conduct evaluations, IDP, provide feedback, hold 1:1s, ensure processes are followed, improve productivity, develop technical and soft skills, motivate the team, provide career direction, and manage hiring and dismissal processes to retain talent.
  • Relationship management with multiple stakeholders (technical and business) to deliver software solutions and secure development team commitment.
  • Suggest and promote process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with software development.
  • Experience in a leadership role in software development projects.
  • Experience in delivering software projects, building and staffing software development teams.
  • Ability to manage customer expectations while working with cross-functional teams to meet delivery goals.
  • Knowledge and experience in agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on profile with active involvement in technical and architectural discussions.
