Engineering Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead our team in optimizing Ubuntu for the latest hardware platforms.

This is a fast-paced, problem-solving oriented role requiring resourcefulness, articulation, and the ability to deliver solutions across PC and IoT technologies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage relationships with key technology partners to ensure timely delivery on project milestones.
  • Develop and lead a distributed team to design and implement Ubuntu integration for the latest IoT and server hardware platforms and software stacks.
  • Engage with partners to deliver an optimized, first-class Ubuntu experience on their platforms.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and reliability.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Linux distributions, Debian packaging, and high-performance server hardware.
  • Ability to work directly with customers, resolve technical issues, and understand business challenges.
  • Proven experience managing or leading software engineering teams.
  • Awareness of agile development methodologies.
