Job Overview

DESCCO Design & Construction Inc. is looking for a hands-on, experienced Water/Wastewater Foreman (Construction) to lead and manage field crews on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coordinate, and work alongside field crews on active water and wastewater construction projects
  • Interpret plans, blueprints, and project specifications to ensure work is completed correctly and efficiently
  • Schedule daily tasks, assign duties to crew members, and manage productivity on-site
  • Monitor quality of work, ensure safety compliance, and address any issues as they arise
  • Serve as the main point of contact between field staff and project management
  • Assist with hands-on work - formwork, excavation, piping, equipment operation, etc.
  • Coordinate deliveries, equipment, and subcontractors to maintain project timelines
  • Document daily reports and ensure site cleanliness, safety, and readiness

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Construction Foreman, specifically overseeing wastewater or water treatment projects
  • Proven ability to lead, schedule, and manage crews effectively on complex infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of water/wastewater processes, site layout, and utility installation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver's license and clean MVR required
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • We provide all power tools and larger tools and equipment. Employees must have their own hand tools (ie, Hammer, trowels, toolbelt, tape measure, utility knife etc.)
