Location: St. André, NB

On-site, permanent full-time position; start date: 2025-10-06; salary: $17.00 to $23.00 hourly, 45 to 50 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunction
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
  • Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair
  • Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities
  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect equipment malfunctioning and to ensure plant systems are operating normally
  • Operate automated or computerized control systems
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance
  • Start up and shut down power plant equipment
Work environment and setting
  • Work site environment: At heights, Confined spaces, Noisy, Outdoors
  • Work setting: Generating station
Education and experience
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Languages

English or French

Weight handling
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
