• Provide technical expertise in mechanical systems across the fleet, ensuring operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, support audits by regulatory agencies and clients, and offer strategic technical recommendations to enhance operability, increase revenue, and safeguard equipment performance.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Technical Risk Assessment (TRA), and management of change (MoC), ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous improvement.
• Align technical action plans with organizational objectives to drive operational excellence and compliance.

• Identify and resolve technical issues, developing action plans to improve system reliability.
• Support regulatory and internal audits, ensuring compliance with standards and policies.
• Recommend improvements for equipment protection and control device performance, and assess technical risks.
• Develop and implement Technical Risk Assessments and participate in RCAs, proposing mitigation plans.
• Ensure alignment with company strategies, standards, and regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, and support their implementation.
• Evaluate technical proposals from supply chain partners, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for mechanical disciplines, including Management of Change (MoC) and QnA processes.
• Develop Technical Notes and Guidelines to share lessons learned and promote best practices.
• Define and execute a 3-Year Mechanical Plan (3YP), support budget exercises, and engage with suppliers and vendors.

• Mechanical Engineering degree
• Regional Council certification in Architecture and Civil Engineering (if applicable)

• Experience in Oil & Gas industry projects
• Experience as an engineer or interface coordinator in relevant projects

• Integrity and Reliability, Remote Surveillance and Monitoring
• Inspection, Testing, Commissioning, and Monitoring
• Learning from Events, Reliability, Operability, Safety
• Mechanical Static Equipment, Cranes, and Winches
• Spares Analysis, Troubleshooting
• Pressure Vessel Analysis
