What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Provide training and technical assistance (TTA) to grantees related to school readiness and family engagement
  • Assist grantees in implementing child assessment, curriculum, and teaching methods appropriate for children from birth to five
  • Facilitate improvements in teacher/child interactions based on the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS)
  • Analyze and aggregate data to help grantees make informed decisions
  • Support the development and implementation of family engagement practices aligned with the Parent Family and Community Engagement (PFCE) Framework
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • A minimum of a BA or BS Degree in Early Childhood Education/Development from an accredited university or college
  • At least 5 years of experience in programs for young children from birth to five years of age
  • 1+ year of experience working with infants and toddlers
  • 1+ year of experience in family engagement
  • 1+ year of experience analyzing data and assisting programs in making data-driven decisions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Knowledge of Head Start programs
  • Experience working within a Head Start Program
  • Experience facilitating group discussions and presenting to diverse audiences
