Data Center Operations And Support Analyst

Join one of the biggest IT Services companies in the world Here you can transform your career. We are looking for a Data Center Operations and Support Analyst - Windows VMWare, on-site in Belo Horizonte / Minas Gerais, CLT contract.

Responsibilities

• Manage, keep, operate and monitor high-availability DCs using technologies like VXRail Dell, Storage EMC and HP Baremetal Servers. Follow DRP procedures, apply patches and monitor health indicators. Support both VMware virtualized platforms and Baremetal solutions on Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of Core Network (spine-leaf switches, L3-7).
• Experience or certification equivalent for more than 1,500 VMs / Physical Servers.
• Monitor datacenter facilities (cooling, electrical, temperature, humidity) manually or with tools.
• Prepare routine documentation to be followed during operation.
• Storage and Backup Administrator role: maintain communication between storage and server, ensure backups are performed and stored safely, and follow company policies.

Tools & Technologies

• Unisphere, Veritas NETBackup, OpsCenter, Veeam EMC VNX5500, HP P2000, DELL MD3200, HP P4500, EMC VNX5200, DELL ME4024, Tape library Dell.
• Install, configure, define policies, monitor backup activities for hybrid environments using Veeam / CommVault, NetBackup.
• Coordinate tape library operations across remote sites.
• Ensure tape libraries are kept safe according to customer policies.
• Monitor execution; in case of failure, recover or restart operations.
• Escalate problems when required and participate in DR training and real situations.
• Keep up-to-date documentation for backup / restore / DR.
• Prepare runbooks for command center execution.
• Experience with backup / snapshot images, configurations, files, objects, archives, databases, SAP using disks, tape libraries, cloud.
• Experience with datacenter facilities and DC IT infrastructure (Servers, Core Network, Storage, OS, ERP, HCI).
• Familiar with monitoring multiple devices/applications using Zabbix / Grafana / Power BI / Tableau.
• Execute runbooks in line with incident events and provide feedback for improvements.

Key Responsibilities

All hardware must be compatible with Microsoft, VMware, and Red Hat matrices. All solutions for connectivity to centralized arrays (servers with HBA) must be compatible with Huawei Dorado v6, Hitachi VSP, Dell/EMC VMAX 40k and VMAX3 arrays. Provide maintenance and technical support for all software and equipment in the platform-as-a-service solution. Validate compatibility matrices for devices connected to Storage and Data Network when updating drivers or firmware. Monitor large activities with scheduling and advance requests by the contractor (e.g., Disaster Recovery tests, planned maintenance changes). Apply microcode updates to the contractor's hardware and adjust engineering for reliability, availability and functionality. Maintain capacity and efficiency monitoring and suggest growth baselines as needed.

Maintain backups and storage communications, ensuring security and availability in accordance with policies. Provide remote management capabilities and ensure SLAs at the Administrative Level.
