**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and maintain company payroll;
- Prepare and enter accounting entries into accounting software;
- Maintain and update company chart of accounts;
- Maintain fixed assets register;
- Provide recommendations to management to improve accounting data workflow;
- Prepare monthly closing reports for group reporting;
- Prepare ad-hoc financial summaries;
- Prepare annual reports and collaborate with local and group auditors;
- Prepare and submit regular tax declarations (state, federal, payroll);
- Complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent English;
- Experience in Accounting (including Corporate Finance) no less than 5 years;
- Good knowledge of Taxation (ICMS, IRPJ, IRRF, INSS, FGTS, transfer pricing, PIT, other);
- Experience with local accounting software;
- Experience with Payroll Accounting, including solid knowledge of taxation of various types of remuneration (basic salary, fringe benefits, benefits in kind, etc.);
- Ability and willingness to start with accounting from scratch;
- Great attention to detail;
- Good time management;
- Proficient with Excel;
- Deadline-oriented.
