**Role Overview**

**We are looking for**:
**We count on you for**:

- Identify, investigate, and follow up on qualified leads and develop business at key OEMs in the Oil&Gas and diversified Energy markets.

**You can count on us for**:

- Oil & Gas and alternative energy markets are a historically strategic and dynamic growth markets for Solvay’s Materials.
- Our existing customer relationships and product portfolio have established Solvay as a solution provider for the industry's materials challenges.
- Solvay is a 160 year old European company with an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit to meet or exceed incredibly ambitious sustainability commitments.

**You will bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (engineering, chemistry, material science, etc.) MBA preferred
- Strong marketing and sales background in a specialty polymer or materials environment preferred.
- Excellent initiative, autonomy and enthusiasm
- Demonstrated track record of successful sales/negotiations, key account management/business development and internal/external relationships at multiple levels within the organization.
- Ability to educate customers/colleagues both on the technical and commercial side, and communicate/present well in a succinct and compelling way
- Strong desire both to learn and to share knowledge
- Ability to influence and forge strong relationships with impact at any level in the customer organization or in the GBU
- Experience and ability to work in a diverse global matrix across cultural and language barriers
