**Payroll Administrator**

This role is part of the Latin America HR team and primarily supports the Regional HRBP based in Colombia. The Payroll Administrator will be required to process and monitor the payrolls in Brazil, Colombia and Mexico and provide a level of advice to the team in the Americas, and the Global Payroll Hub who are based in India.
The Administrator will be responsible for providing efficient and effective Payroll administration & support to the Payroll & Technology Team which includes the Regional Payroll Manager and Global Payroll Hub directly.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Support the production of the payrolls to ensure that all are processed accurately and compliantly and that employees are paid on time and in line with the payroll schedules.
- Overall day to day responsibility for all bi-weekly payroll actions which include:
- Preparing payroll input, and associated payroll administration for: New Hires, Leavers, Expats, Salary changes, Maternity/Paternity Leavers, Overtime, Auto-Enrollment, Pensions, Benefits
- Updating & reviewing bi-weekly payroll instructions & HR systems.
- Responsible for calculation of overtime, incentive pay, retro pay, unpaid/sick leave for payroll adjustments, wage garnishments/child support and employee terminations
- Post payroll activities (Revenue correspondence, Tax payments, Payroll reporting, ad hoc correspondences).
- Main point of contact for Latam payroll related queries.
- Process employee wires and stop payments when necessary
- File Worker’s Compensation Reports
- Prepare Business Invitation Letters for employees when traveling inside & outside US
- Managing the Payroll Inbox and responding to colleagues.
- Responsible to employment verifications.
- Support ad hoc tasks - Audits, Reporting, Payroll & System Implementations & Upgrades.

**Required Skills and Abilities**:
- Previous office experience would be a strong advantage, especially within an HR and/or Financial Services environment.
- Previous payroll experience is an advantage
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to plan and prioritize work. Must take ownership of tasks and be able work autonomously to deliver within agreed timescales.
- Highly customer focused, maintaining a professional attitude at all times.
- Shows initiative in taking action and responding appropriately.
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels.
- Highly confidential. Understands and appreciates the importance of using discretion.
- Someone who is motivated by being part of a team, supporting the common workload, and brings a collaborative style to ensure delivery and quality of service.
- Highly responsive to changing demands in responsibilities and priorities.
- Maintains a positive attitude towards routine tasks.
- Works well under pressure.
- Numerate with high accuracy levels and exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel and intermediate Word and MS Outlook. Experience of HR & Payroll systems in a previous role.
- A good standard of education - A levels or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree an advantage.
