Your Role and Responsibilities

The Americas Technology Field Marketer connects demand generation, product, content, and event marketing plans to sales teams to generate and progress pipeline, attract new clients, and increase client loyalty and retention.

You will provide insight and guidance to the IBM global marketing team to determine the right marketing tactics that best help achieve key business outcomes. You’ll work hand in hand with sales and help drive Marketing performance to the business.

As an Americas Technology Field Marketer, you will:

- Develop and demonstrate working knowledge of technology and markets, and how IBM solutions solve our client’s business challenges
- Execute marketing plans that leverage the collective strength of IBM Marketing and Communications to deliver on KPIs and business objectives
- Deliver pipeline and revenue targets, deepen client engagement, and help progress opportunities via marketing and communications strategies
- Leverage data-driven analysis to inform Marketing strategies and tactics, report on performance and ROI.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Exposure to creating and implementing successful marketing plans, leveraging a range of tactics and technologies;
- Written and oral English communication skills; the ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively;
- Multi-disciplinary collaboration, agile work approach;
- Business outcome focus with basic understanding of business and marketing metrics, business planning and ability to adjust based on market demands;
- Analytics and insight-based decision making.
- Fluent English.

This is a Hybrid role, attendance to the office will be required only 3 times peer week.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Software or technology marketing experience.
