Global Category Manager

The procurement area is responsible for sourcing and acquiring material necessary for the company's operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and compliance with organizational standards and policies.
**Responsabilidades e atribuições**
1. Perform strategic market analysis for the main market drivers such as prices, feedstocks, supply/demand balance and other important macroeconomic indicators and related to the it's category scope.
2. Build procurement strategies for categories to support all ACIM business, globally and across different business platforms;
3. Functional coordination for the procurement regional teams responsible for its category scope for activities related to the strategy definition and implementation and also for project execution and follow-up.
4. Align the categories strategies with cross functional departments and with each business platform.
5. Conduct sourcing process for new suppliers and new technologies according to the category strategy; Approve new suppliers introduction.
6. Manage a spend over 300MIn USD.
7. Lead negotiations with suppliers including price, volumes, contracts and other conditions aiming to achieve the best Total Cost of Ownership;
8. Develop relationships with major suppliers in line with company policy, procurement strategy and business objectives.
9. Build and implement business continuity plans for supplies and categories bringing value creation for the company;
10. Lead and mediate conflicts, divergences, and priority between company areas and suppliers, seeking to keep the focus oriented towards the best result for the company.
**Requisitos e qualificações**
- Engineering, Business Administration, Economy or other related areas background;
- Senior Procurement/purchases experience;
- Good negotiation and communication skills;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Ability to work with MS Office;
- English proficiency;
- Availability for international travels;
- Be available to short term assignments in Mexico (1/2 months) in case of needs.
