**Strategy and Planning**:
Develop and implement strategic plans for the organization to achieve business growth and profitability

Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape

Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for new products, services, and business initiatives

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business strategies and objectives

**Business Intelligence**:
Define and structure performance reports that will drive decision making process
Provides input to business requirements for the design of BI solutions
Interprets business requirements and determine optimum BI solutions to meet their needs
Follow-up on weekly performance

Provide regular updates on business performance to top management

Identify areas for continuous improvement and automation in business intelligence processes
Define and coordinate implementation of BI dashboards on Qliksense tool
Look for internal tools’ continuous improvement and automation
Oversee the Business Development Specialist in their duties and provide guidance and support as needed

**Market Intelligence**:
Develop and implement market research plans to understand the Mercosul Line's competitive position and identify new opportunities for growth

Develop and maintain relationships with key third party feeder players to gain insights into market and identify potential partnerships or opportunities

Develop segment studies and coordinate newsletter for Mercosul Line services and market highlights

Identify potential risks to Mercosul Line’s market position and develop strategies to mitigate these risks
Drive the comprehensive understanding of market dynamics including customers, competitors, market trend, technology and other forces. This may also include macroeconomic conditions and regulatory issues
Monitor Macroeconomic figures, market share evolution, growth and trade segmentation with services analyzes with niche comparisons as well as competitors and market trends
Monitor competitors’ behavior in charges, responsible for an accurate benchmarking on local fees charged, as well as sharing relevant information about their strategy news
Monitor agents’ performance on their administrative zones, local charges, and clients’ evolution on loadings

**Project**:
Study and identify new services and products aligned to Mercosul Line’s growth plan
Lead cross-functional teams to implement new products, services, and business initiatives
Development of new products/ services
Price new products/services and follow-up implementation with Commercial team
Provide studies of Profit & Loss documents and Business Plans to back up proposals: reinvestment, diversification, joint venture, partnership or acquisitions
Identify and pursue sources of additional revenue for Mercosul Line
Oversee the Business Development Specialist in their duties and provide guidance and support as needed

**Pool Department**:
Prepare recommendation on compensation during contingencies and participate on the negotiation

Control allocations (overcharging, respect, and balance of spaces) and make reporting

Ensure monitoring of financial situations contracts (invoicing, litigation, collection, partner disbursement, cashflow forecast)

Statistics studies related to contracts and analyze data, and implement management tools to followup activity

Perform contractual monitoring by checking contracts consistency with operational situation on to warn Line

Advise various department on the interpretation and enforcement of contracts, spread the news and coordination of actions with support services, ensuring proper care

**Degree**: Degree Required in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Comex and related

**IT and System Requirements**: Advanced level of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access and PowerPoint),

Experience with BI tools, specifically Qliksense, and developing BI dashboards
Experience with graphic design and presentation skills is a plus

**Language**: English (fluent) / Spanish intermediate (desirable)
