Accounting Team Lead

We're looking for an Accounting Team Lead to manage our accounting and payments processes while driving operational improvements across the company. You'll oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure accuracy in reporting, and identify ways to make our systems more efficient and scalable.
This role is open to all candidates in the Philippines and all over Latin America
What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including reconciliations, reporting, and data management
- Manage payroll and contractor payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Supervise invoicing and Accounts Receivable processes, maintaining healthy cash flow
- Lead the setup and optimization of tools like QuickBooks Online (QBO), Stripe, and Excel/Google Sheets for better financial visibility
- Collaborate with leadership to design and implement process improvements and automation initiatives
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, payroll, and financial operations
- Hands-on experience with Stripe and QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with SQL, LLMs (Large Language Models), or automation tools (nice to have)
- Experience in fast-paced startup or SaaS environments (nice to have)
- Available to work in US time zones (Graveyard shift in the Philippines)
- Available to start within 2 weeks from job offer
Technical Requirements:
- Comfortable in using time-trackers (e.G. Time Doctor)
- Own laptop/desktop, noise-cancelling headphones, and webcam
- Reliable internet connection (at least 50 Mbps)
- Available backup equipment in cases of power and internet outages
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Google Workspace
- Hands-on experience with Stripe and QuickBooks Online (QBO)
