Proven experience leading cross-border projects, sourcing and carrier negotiations, and participating in global RFQ processes. • Strong understanding of international air freight operations, IATA regulations, perishables handling, and multimodal transportation. Experience with IT integrations and performance management tools. • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Advanced analytical and project management capabilities. Strong stakeholder management and financial acumen . • Proven record managing relationship and procurement activities with local, regional, and global Air Carriers, ground/trucks operators, and Airport warehouses. • Excellent understanding of Air Freight market in Latin America . • Fluent in English and Spanish • Fast-paced, cross-functional, multicultural environment requiring frequent coordination across time zones. Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally. Activities to be performed: • Design and implement optimized air freight network solutions in line with GAF global objectives. Lead initiatives to expand capacity, coverage, and service reliability. Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support new network strategies and carrier partnerships. • Manage end-to-end network development projects, including timeline, budget, and resource allocation. Coordinate activities among Operations, Procurement, and IT teams. Ensure adherence to corporate standards, quality, and compliance regulations • Lead negotiations with airlines, trucking companies, and logistics partners. Conduct performance reviews and audits to ensure service excellence and cost efficiency. Participate in regional and global RFQ processes, securing competitive rates and reliable capacity. • Provide technical expertise in air freight solutions, multimodal integrations, and network performance. Support IT integration of third-party vendors into • Analyze operational data, identify trends, and prepare strategic recommendations. Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports for senior management review. Implement KPIs and dashboards to measure network efficiency and savings. • Coordinate efforts with GAF teams in LAC and other regions to ensure global consistency.
