Project Control Specialist

The primary goal of the Project Control Specialist is to ensure the successful creation, maintenance, and data accuracy of NC/MM projects for our organization. This role requires a single point of contact for queries related to the E&B tool, NC/MM, and OTL timecard issues.


Responsibilities:
  1. Set up, modify, and close NC/MM projects in Oracle upon receipt of proper documentation.
  2. Maintain and publish desktop procedures for NC/MM project setup.
  3. Publish the updated Estimating & Bidding Tool and Templates, notify users of their availability, and manage access to the updates.
  4. Run, distribute, and validate the completeness of routine and ad hoc exception reports and verify that required corrections are necessary.
  5. Participate in project selection with senior management.
  6. Prepare documentation, coordinate meeting logistics, perform follow-up, and summarize project review meeting details.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university or recognized equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in project control.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external clients.
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting systems, preferably Oracle.
  • Ability to obtain a working knowledge of our health, safety, quality, and environmental management systems.

Reporting Relationships:

This position reports directly to the department manager or supervisor. There are no direct reports associated with this position.
