Job Summary:

As a Legal Manager, you will provide expert legal counsel on competition issues, including mergers and acquisitions, business practices, strategic partnerships, and regulatory investigations. This role requires collaboration with internal teams to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate has a Law degree with a specialization in Competition Law or Corporate Law, active registration with the Bar Association, and minimum 7-10 years of experience in legal positions focusing on competition and antitrust. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of other languages is an advantage.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice on competition issues, including mergers and acquisitions, business practices, strategic partnerships, and regulatory investigations.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in competition laws and regulations, ensuring compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal and ethical business practices.
  • Conduct internal training on competition laws and antitrust practices for employees and leadership teams.

Requirements:
  • Law degree with a specialization in Competition Law or Corporate Law.
  • Active registration with the Bar Association.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in legal positions focusing on competition and antitrust.
  • Deep knowledge of competition laws and regulations, including Brazilian and international legislation.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Experience in corporate environments or large law firms is preferred.
