Job Description

As a seasoned Mainframe DBA, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and availability of our mainframe databases. This involves designing, developing, configuring and administering large and critical database systems to ensure high performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert database administration support to all stakeholders during project lifecycle
  • Lead and define tuning database parameters and promote standardization per product cross customers worldwide
  • Design strategy for DB working processes and translate and guide until implementation
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • IMS DB support experience with version 13 onwards
  • DB Objects - Experience in creating and modifying DBD, PSB, ACB, FMT
  • Experience with administration of IMS Full Function, HALDB, Fastpath databases
  • Good knowledge on DBRC, Restore, Reorg, Load IMS DB
  • Strong Knowledge of Troubleshooting skills on IMS administration
