We are seeking a seasoned data professional to join our team as a Senior Data Engineer. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining a robust data platform that can be consumed across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python for data transformation and validation, as well as proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets. Additionally, they should have hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms, including designing and implementing data solutions at scale.
- Design, develop, and maintain a robust data platform for consumption across the company.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Drive innovation and explore emerging technologies to enhance our data capabilities.
- Proficiency in Python for data transformation and validation.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets, as well as experience working with structured and unstructured data sources.
- Data engineering and modelling skills such as slowly changing dimensions and dimensional modelling.
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms, including designing and implementing data solutions at scale.
- Self-motivation and curiosity, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
