Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our manufacturing finance team. The successful candidate will work with us to maximize operating earnings and Economic Value Added (EVA) throughout the global Ball Aerosol Packaging group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report and analyze manufacturing finance metrics, including production, efficiency, spoilage, claims, labor costs, and headcount versus budget/forecast/previous year.
  • Savings plan status and reporting.
  • Manufacturing EVA reporting and review.
  • Lead reporting and global management for Capital Expenditures with a focus on EVA optimization.
  • Creation and analysis of global capital expenditure budgeted and actual reports.
  • Work with plants to keep capital expenditures in line with operational requirements and strategy.
  • Provide analysis and guidance on capital project documentation creation.
  • Assist with continuous improvement, simplification, standardization, and alignment of manufacturing reporting through adequate tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Assist with the manufacturing finance forecasting and budgeting process.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and SOX in regards to any item related to manufacturing finance.
  • Management of related Quarterly and Annual Corporate reporting and disclosures.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with:

  • Broad training in a related field, usually acquired through college or university or work-related experience in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related areas.
  • Working knowledge of finance, accounting, EVA, business, and economic principles and practices, financial modeling.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
  • Proficient in Hyperion Financial tools (HFM, Essbase, Planning, etc.) preferred.
  • Advanced English language skills.

  • Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to evaluate various financial results and potential actions.

This role is located in Itupeva, SP, and requires a hybrid work model.
