About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Content Specialist to join our team at Amazon's Content and Localization Brazil. As a UX Content Specialist, you will play a key role in creating personalized experiences for our customers, filled with local culture, inspiration, and delight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate, review, and create UX content for Brazilian Portuguese, ensuring high-quality and culturally relevant content.
  • Plan project deliveries and workflows, prioritizing business needs and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Assess and improve machine-translation engines' quality, providing linguistic feedback to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers on product and feature launches, ensuring seamless integration of localized content.
  • Partner with global teams to build improvements for customer experience and processes.
  • Develop and nurture relationships across teams and disciplines to promote collaboration and efficiency.
  • Use research methodologies to turn customer feedback into actionable findings, informing future design decisions.
Requirements
  • Brazilian Portuguese native language knowledge.
  • Fluent English language skills (speak, write, and read).
  • 2+ years of UX Writing, content, marketing, or related field experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics, Journalism, Language (Letras), or similar.
  • Ability to problem-solve in ambiguous situations, work autonomously, and multi-task.
  • Familiarity with research methodologies and turning customer feedback into actionable findings.
