Job Opportunity: Senior R&D Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior R&D Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies and tools for transformers. As a key member of our global innovation team, you will be responsible for proposing and developing new technologies, products, and processes for both core and shell-type transformers.

The Role:

• You will lead and manage R&D projects independently, ensuring timely delivery with high quality standards.
• Maintain and develop technical standards and design tools for transformers.
• Perform electrical design and supervise the manufacturing and testing of prototypes.
• Share knowledge and findings through reports, specifications, and participation in educational programs.
• Evaluate production processes and identify improvement opportunities proactively.
• Support factories in troubleshooting within your area of expertise.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, proposing innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's or PhD preferred.
• Previous experience in electrical engineering, either in the transformer industry or academia.
• Knowledge of advanced numerical simulations (e.g., magnetic or dielectric).
• Proficiency in commercial simulation tools (e.g., Ansys, Simcenter).
• Ability to develop custom technical solutions.
• Strong teamwork skills in international environments and excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Innovative mindset, proactive attitude, and problem-solving orientation.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
