Procurement Manager Opportunity

We seek an experienced procurement professional to develop and execute strategic procurement plans for direct materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging, and indirect categories (MRO, logistics, CAPEX).
  • Evaluate and onboard local/global suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and conduct performance reviews (QCD: Quality, Cost, Delivery).
  • Identify and mitigate supply risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Cost Optimization:
  • Analyze market trends, conduct total cost of ownership analysis, and implement cost-saving programs without compromising quality.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Align with R&D, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow and inventory control.
  • Coordinate with headquarters on global procurement policies and supply chain integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field. Master's/MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in procurement/sourcing, preferably in manufacturing, construction materials, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end procurement cycles and supplier development.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools.
  • Languages: Mandatory fluency in Portuguese and English.
  • Mandatory: Professional proficiency in Chinese (ordinary language) to communicate with headquarters and Chinese suppliers.
