Job Title: Umbilical Engineering Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Umbilical Engineering Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical packages, mentoring junior engineers and providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-impact topics across live projects
  • Provide technical support and guidance at project technical leadership level
  • Mentor junior engineers in umbilical engineering activities
  • Develop and integrate new technologies, templates, calculations and tools to improve efficiency and quality
  • Work with Pre-award team to ensure smooth handover of tender and feed projects
  • Drive Company initiatives with the umbilical team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline – preferably Mechanical Engineering, Subsea Engineering
  • Relevant experience of the offshore industry and in the detailed design of umbilical systems
  • Vast knowledge of industry standards relating to umbilical design and subsea industry
  • Significant experience problem solving and working in high pace environments
  • Proficient in software such as Orcaflex
  • Experience delivering against challenging schedules in a project management environment is essential
