As a Credit Risk Professional, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the assessment and management of credit and counterparty risk for a portfolio of clients.

Job Overview

The role involves conducting comprehensive credit risk assessments of corporate clients, including analysis of financial statements, market trends, and regulatory developments. You will be responsible for preparing detailed credit reports and presenting findings to senior management and in credit discussions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough credit risk assessments of corporate clients, leveraging financial data and market intelligence.
  • Possess strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial information and identify potential risks.
  • Prepare high-quality credit reports that provide actionable insights for senior management and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including relationship managers, product specialists, and risk management professionals, to assess, monitor, and approve credit transactions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact client creditworthiness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in credit risk analysis within the corporate sector, with familiarity with global financial markets and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in accounting and corporate finance, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Familiarity with traditional types of credit agreements, including lending and derivatives transactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Motivated professional with a passion for learning and an inquisitive nature.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • High level of accountability and ownership of tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated interest and proficiency in data analysis, with the capability to leverage technology for problem-solving and comprehensive dataset evaluation.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic.
