Application and Sales Specialist

The Area Sales Manager plays a crucial role in understanding the pain points of customers in the marine industry and providing solutions through MTM offerings.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Focus: Understand customer needs and provide solutions to their pain points.
- Strategic Sales Management: Develop country-specific sales strategies and track progress to achieve sales growth, increase market participation, and improve profitability.
- Application of Tools and Procedures: Utilize tools like Poseidon (CRM) and MTM sales policies to report on developments, manage budgets, and provide regular input to POR and SE&OP.
- Growth Driven: Identify new applications within existing customers and beyond to grow market share.
- Solution Selling: Deliver complete solutions to customers by understanding the complexity of system sales.
- PPP: Win strategic project business through the Global Project list and drive Vessel Owner Loyalty to MTM.
- Interpersonal Savvy: Handle and develop clients and the agent network, communicating and cooperating with internal and external functions.
- Site Administration
- Utilize tools like Config Price Quote software, BI Tools (Microsoft Power B), CRM, and Market Focus to work efficiently.
- Lead or participate in the global sales Project Pursuit Process and implement clean project handover.
- Build a funnel utilizing key sales initiatives, develop a complete budget, and provide reports on developments and progress.
- Manage and develop the agent network, identifying where an agent can bring value above the direct Emerson channel.
- Develop country-specific sales strategies, build sales funnels, and track progress to achieve sales growth.
- Actively engage in the execution of the strategic plan for the company.
- Manage and grow existing accounts, establishing and cultivating new accounts for continued growth.
- Education: Bachelor Degree or similar level.
- Experience: International Sales Experience of technical products, preferably in the maritime business.
- Language: English & Portuguese (and one additional foreign language) orally and in writing.
